Self-harm in Children and Adolescents

In this this 2-hour online on-demand training we will explore self-harm in children and adolescents, common misconceptions and why people generally self-harm.

We will also look at common co-occurring issues, how self-harm is different to suicide, identifying risk factors and which groups are most at risk.

This workshop also considers normal reactions when discovering a child or adolescent may be self-harming and practical steps that can be taken to support the child (and family of the child) who self-harms.
