The Big Ban(g): Managing Social Media with Teens and Children
In this short talk, we look at social media from different angles. We start with a walk through the evolution of social media and learn why teens and children are attracted to it.
We explore the effects of social media on children and teens, first looking at the negatives, and then highlighting which groups are most at risk.
We finish by identifying positive influences and uses of social media, concluding by giving parents and teachers practical tips and tricks to help children and teens stay safe online and learn healthy social media habits.
